Who Are Evergreen?

Evergreen Sporting Holidays was formed in response to several requests by bowling friends to arrange bowling trips to Spain.
Two of the directors, Terry Jackson and Graham Fordy have considerable experience in the game at both playing and management levels and have been associated with bowls through Thornaby Indoor Bowls Club and Yorkshire County IBA for many years. Terry, an ex President and County Captain for Yorkshire, retired as Chairman of Thornaby Indoor Bowls Club and now lives full time in Mojacar, Spain. Graham is an ex director of Middlesbrough Football Club and continues today as Chairman of Thornaby Indoor Bowls Club. He was very proud in March 2007, to host the British Isles Indoor National Championships at the Thornaby club. Terry and Graham are both ideally situated to provide and manage bowling holidays to Spain.

Due to their local knowledge, the company has concentrated on two main areas in south east Spain, Mojacar and South Alicante.
In each area two hotels are being offered as a touring base each offering a slightly different style and location but all have been selected for their quality of accommodation, food and service.

Being a small company and managed at a local level affords the degree of flexibility and attention to detail to ensure that everything possible is done to make each holiday a memorable experience. Everything is arranged from the moment you touch down in Spain to the time you take off again for home. Every tour is 100% escorted with an experienced courier who will help and assist you. The companys key word is FLEXIBILITY and they will arrange where possible any special requests, excursions and special functions throughout your stay. So, all your tour party organiser has to do is, select your chosen airport and date of departure, keeping any group discounts for the benefit of the group and tell us where and when you are landing whether it be Alicante, Murcia or Almeria and Evergreen Sporting Holidays will do the rest. Your group organiser will be liaised with throughout the planning and finalisation of your tour and every assistance will be provided where necessary to make the organiser's work as easy as possible.

What to do next?

As soon as you have decided which centre you want to use and have an idea of your party size, drop either Terry or Graham an e mail with your contact details and you will be contacted to agree your full requirements.   A booking form will also be e mailed to you for completion of names, addresses and passport numbers. When you have finalised the booking form, and party size, take two copies, send one to Evergreen Sporting Holidays together with the relevant deposit and keep one for your records and Evergreen will do the rest, and don't worry if you are a non bowler, you can take advantage of a £15.00 reduction on the stated holiday prices but share in all the other activities. Sit and watch the games, have a snack after the match or disappear off to the shops, lay on the beach or whatever else takes your fancy.
